Its great to hear that 8 Street Apartments checks those boxes for you. We think our downtown Omaha neighborhood location is great and so convenient to shops, restaurants, and travel access as well!
|Recommended: YesLove it — Amazing place to live Love the location, and is generally quiet great for me who often needs to work from home . Can occasionally hear neighbors if they are loud, but generally not too bad. Overall, I frequently recommend the apartments as a place to live.
Thank you for the review. Times have sure changed and the ability to work from home is a MUST! We are happy to hear that you are able to enjoy your work/home at 8 Street Apartments.
|Recommended: YesGreat location, beautiful interior, private and affordable — I have loved my time at 8 St. Apartments. The apartments themselves are modern and spacious with bright white walls and light wood accents. I have never had large maintenance issues in my 2 1 2 years living here and when I do, the maintenance staff is always friendly and gets the job done. The location is also amazing, right across from the Amtrak, a few blocks from the Old Market and Little Bohemia. People keep to themselves which I appreciate, as you can lead a private life here. The unit itself is quite large, especially for the price and living downtown. The only things I would change are the appliances, they are quite small and it's tough to keep up on dishes and keeping an orderly fridge, and the parking lot. Spaces are always available but if you ever forget to put your pass up or if it falls, you'll get towed at your own expense. I'd recommend keeping a record of make, model and license plate number so they can reference that as well because being towed is not ideal and quite expensive. Those are small things though and overall I would absolutely recommend this property to almost anyone. Living here has truly been a pleasure.
Thank you for sharing your experience with 8 Street Apartments and your Management Team. We appreciate the feedback and suggestions as well. Best of luck to you in your new season!
|Recommended: YesOverall Nice Apartments — Occasionally, I feel the rumble of the trains passing on nearby tracks. I like some of the artwork in the building. I love the layout of my apartment and the view from my balcony. My only complaint really is the lack of built-in storage. I don't mind the smaller efficiency appliances, but the kitchen wall space could have been utilized much better to provide more cabinets and storage. There is a large walk-in closet that is supposed to compensate for lack of additional closets and pantry space. The hardware and shelving in that closet could have been designed better to facilitate a more efficient use of space. The apartment community overall is very nice though.
8 Street certainly brings its own unique charm and fineness to the Downtown Omaha market. We love seeing how our Residents are able to transform the open concept and efficient spaces into a home that truly reflect their personal style.
|Recommended: YesPretty good — I see new dogs yet my lease says cats only. Very odd hoping this allowance to others is granted to someone who’s on year 4 here
Thank you for sharing your concern. Please note that 8 Street welcomes cats only as pest only as pets at our communuty. Please touch base with the office should you see any unauthorized dogs so we can promptly address if action is needed.
|Recommended: YesNice distant view of downtown 2nd floor — The trains were my one of my concerns during the first viewing. After living here for a couple months they arent an issue really. It does take a little getting used to though. The location is convenient and close to everything you need. Super mercado grocery store is on Vinton st, a few minutes away.
Thank you for taking the time to share! You are not alone in your initial concern of the train noise, but love that you have found them to not be an issue. 8 Street is in such as wonderful historic area close to so many things like the Old Market, North Downtown, Capitol District, Midtown and small shops and businesses that thrive on the neighborhoods that surround them. We are glad that you are settling in and finding a home in 8 Street Apartments!
|Recommended: Yes8 St Apartments — Nice area to live in, train is not terrible and everyone I have ran into have been friendly and welcoming. Very convenient to hop on the interstate, 3 min drive to old Market, farmer’s market on the weekend is a nice perk, restaurants bars, Coffee shops, shops, good area to do some skating or bike. The AC is crisp it be hitting different. The sink kitchen are tiny definitely fit for one person living but still it’s just small in general. The layout is unique, book shelves are an aesthetically pleasing touch. Bathroom mirror is perfect for getting ready. Pet friendly, yay Far-away from anything dangerous but close enough to go downtown old market. Quiet neighborhood
It is wonderful to hear how much you enjoy the conveniences of our location!! We are also pleased to hear that you have been able to make your apartment home through minor challenges with layout and size. Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of 8 Street Apartments.
|Recommended: YesDecent place — Doable for one person. Thin walls, ceiling, floors. Kitchen is very small. If you like to cook and be in the kitchen I don’t recommend this apt. No counter space, one part skinny sink, small dishwasher. Not a lot of storage in kitchen as well as other parts of the apt. Cute and chic layout. Washer dryer unit in apt. K
Thank you for taking the time to provide the feedback. 8 Street Apartments does offer you a unique layout and with micro kitchens leaving the floor plan wide open, it leaves a ton of room for the creative mind. They certainly are not for the gourmet chef, but do provide all the necessities without taking from the open concept home. We hope that you enjoy making this apartment your home and are glad you chose Bluestone.

|Recommended: YesGood place to live, good location — I had the apartment with the street entrance on Pacific. Winter was brutal, my car got trapped by the snow at least once per week due to on street parking and snow plows piling it on your car. you had to wait on the city of Omaha to come and remove snow from your street parking. No one really respects your on street parking. The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighnbors playing their music or talking. The appearance of the apartment is cute and modern. A lot noise from trains in the middle of the night. Its a semi quiet area, its kinda busy due to the train station. Maintenance took forever to get things fixed, I was without light in my bathroom for almost two weeks. and my apartment began to have a foul sewer smell to it that never got fixed.
Thank you for taking the time to review 8 Street Apartments. Your feedback is very helpful in seeing areas that we can improve. Should you need anything during the remainder of your time with us, please feel free to reach out. Thank you!
|Recommended: YesNice — It is really quiet. There is never anything bad going on.
Great to hear that you are enjoying 8 Street Apartments!
|Recommended: YesModern Clean — The location is great and quiet. Secured building is a plus. Short walk to downtown and on the quiet side of downtown area. I do think for the price they can add a pool and gym facility to the property. I was in a rush due to work to find a place, but def. know I could have found something much nicer for the price I pay. The only thing I don't like is that there is no pool and the walls aren't sound proof at all. I can hear my neighbors on the side and on the top floor, which I don't like at all. I also think the kitchen space should have regular size appliances and def. more kitchen counter and storage space. I do love the open space of the apartment and that is why I opted to lease at this property.
|Recommended: YesThe property suited us well during the time we were here. — It is close enough to enjoy the benefits of down town living, while also being far enough away to have an overall low key life style
|Recommended: Yes8 Street — I would recommend 8 Street to a friend. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. It’s a very pet friendly community—lots of dogs in the building And they all seem very understanding that sometimes your dog needs a little space one of mine does not like other dogs . The kitchen is pretty small. The wood floors are fantastic-especially when you have hairy dogs. I never hear a sound from the people beside me— but above me you can hear everything I have enjoyed living at 8 Street. It’s perfect if you live alone. Just enough space for one if you are careful about what you bring into your home— definitely helps me be more of a minimalist. 0
