|Recommended: YesGood place to live, good location — I had the apartment with the street entrance on Pacific. Winter was brutal, my car got trapped by the snow at least once per week due to on street parking and snow plows piling it on your car. you had to wait on the city of Omaha to come and remove snow from your street parking. No one really respects your on street parking. The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighnbors playing their music or talking. The appearance of the apartment is cute and modern. A lot noise from trains in the middle of the night. Its a semi quiet area, its kinda busy due to the train station. Maintenance took forever to get things fixed, I was without light in my bathroom for almost two weeks. and my apartment began to have a foul sewer smell to it that never got fixed.

|Recommended: YesNice — It is really quiet. There is never anything bad going on.
Great to hear that you are enjoying 8 Street Apartments!
|Recommended: YesModern Clean — The location is great and quiet. Secured building is a plus. Short walk to downtown and on the quiet side of downtown area. I do think for the price they can add a pool and gym facility to the property. I was in a rush due to work to find a place, but def. know I could have found something much nicer for the price I pay. The only thing I don't like is that there is no pool and the walls aren't sound proof at all. I can hear my neighbors on the side and on the top floor, which I don't like at all. I also think the kitchen space should have regular size appliances and def. more kitchen counter and storage space. I do love the open space of the apartment and that is why I opted to lease at this property.
|Recommended: YesThe property suited us well during the time we were here. — It is close enough to enjoy the benefits of down town living, while also being far enough away to have an overall low key life style
|Recommended: Yes8 Street — I would recommend 8 Street to a friend. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. It’s a very pet friendly community—lots of dogs in the building And they all seem very understanding that sometimes your dog needs a little space one of mine does not like other dogs . The kitchen is pretty small. The wood floors are fantastic-especially when you have hairy dogs. I never hear a sound from the people beside me— but above me you can hear everything I have enjoyed living at 8 Street. It’s perfect if you live alone. Just enough space for one if you are careful about what you bring into your home— definitely helps me be more of a minimalist. 0
|Recommended: YesRelatively quiet, Good Manager, Good Price for Decent Amount of Space — There needs to be a better system for trash and recycling and overall better security signs for the parking lot.
We appreciate your feedback. Know that we are always looking for ways to make improvements and knowing what areas are effecting the residents the most tells what to prioritize. Thank you for taking the time to review 8 Street!
|Recommended: YesI could not have asked to live in a better first apartment. — It is an excellent apartment to live in, it is very nice decorated with a lot of open space in the kitchen. The bathroom and the closet-area is very spacious and it is nice to have your own dryer and washer. The only thing that could be improved is a kitchen fan because it´s not as easy cooking without one. I really enjoy living here
|Recommended: YesNice appartments — The apartments are really nice and well maintained. Parking lot could have been designed way better by just making it flat with more spots. I feel like if we just didnt have super super loud people above us it would be even better.
|Recommended: YesGood layout, bad sound proofing, no lobby communal area, rude neighbors — The layout was wonderful, I loved the jr 1 bedroom with the extra living room space. The kitchen island was magical and the closet bathroom combo was perfect. I'm not sure I could work with the smaller units that mostly fill the building. The soundproofing was... not good. Our downstairs neighbor would blast screamo music at all hours of the day night. When that wasn't happening, he was having a screaming match with his girlfriend. We spoke with them multiple times, even getting the office involved, and it only had a minimal impact on the situation. Overall it was a great space for what we needed located close to the Old Market, but there were too many instances of our water being shut off last minute, fobs getting deactivated, and loud neighbors.
|Recommended: NoWasher still doesn't work — After 3 different request my washing machine still doesn't work I love living here but it's super frustrating that it still doesn't
|Recommended: YesI love my apartment and location — the only reason I would want to move out my apartment is to relocate to another city or buy a new home. I love bluestone and 8 street
Jaleese, Thank you for being a great resident for the past couple of years. We wish you the best of luck in your new city! Melissa

Hi Chris, Thank you for your kind works. We are happy to have you as a resident at 8 Street! Please let me know if you need anything! Thanks Melissa
|Recommended: YesOverall... — The quality of the building is nice. Everything works well and amenities like a balcony and in-unit washer and dryer are great If you don't mind some train noise and rattling, it's a very nice and central location. I just get frustrated with the size of the kitchen. Even after buying a portable island, there is limited surface and storage space which is annoying for someone who cooks frequently. That's really my only issue. I also have had my car broken into and have seen lots of neighbors car windows smashed, especially lately. Having some kind of surveillance or camera on the building would be nice.
Hi Julia, Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on our community. Good news, we do have cameras on the parking lot and would be happy to check the surveillance for you. We understand your frustration and are doing as much as we can to prevent future incidents. Thank you for caring about your home and wanting to make it a better place to live. Melissa
|Recommended: YesNot too bad for the price and location — A lot of space, but the kitchens are tiny and there is 1 drawer in the entire apartment between 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.
Hi Kate, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to hear you find value in your home and enjoy the locations. Sorry about those drawers- hopefully that movable island gives you a little more storage space in the kitchen. Please let us know if you need anything! Sincerely, Melissa
