|Recommended: YesOverall... — The quality of the building is nice. Everything works well and amenities like a balcony and in-unit washer and dryer are great If you don't mind some train noise and rattling, it's a very nice and central location.
I just get frustrated with the size of the kitchen. Even after buying a portable island, there is limited surface and storage space which is annoying for someone who cooks frequently. That's really my only issue.
I also have had my car broken into and have seen lots of neighbors car windows smashed, especially lately. Having some kind of surveillance or camera on the building would be nice.

|Recommended: YesNot too bad for the price and location — A lot of space, but the kitchens are tiny and there is 1 drawer in the entire apartment between 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.

|Recommended: YesA great place to call home — My wife and I moved out here from Seattle, WA. We never really got a chance to tour apartments or shop for deals because of the distance. I have to say that we definitely guessed right with this choice though Bright, open floor plans, mixed with modern design makes you feel like you're the first tenant to ever stay in your unit. Everyone likes that not lived in feeling right Also, our apartment has ALL the natural light. We basically never have to use our light switches except in the bathroom... there are somethings that can't be done in the dark . When the building starts to fill up with tenants, parking does get a bit challenging, but there is plenty of street parking. Also, lack of covered parking leaves your cars open to whatever Nebraska wants to throw at it.
All in all, I have to say I'm super glad we ended up at the 8 street apts.

|Recommended: YesBest downtown apartments which aren't downtown — After living in a remodeled older building in the middle of Downtown-proper, this place is a godsend. AC which actually cools, amazing view of downtown, quiet neighborhood, and you can't hear your neighbors
Parking can get a bit full at times, but the building is surrounded by a great neighborhood so street parking is always an option.

|Recommended: YesYou get what you pay for,,,and a little more — It's a very laid back property with amazing staff and super cool residents. Ups and downs happen but when they do the staff are always a phone call away and super helpful.

|Recommended: YesThe overall feeling of the complex warming — If someone asked me what it is like to live here I would tell them, its perfect I love the neighbors they're friendly and welcoming. I enjoy the supportive bluestone management and the processes are quick easy I would recommend anyone I know to these apartments
|Recommended: YesFriendly Community — Maintenance and staff are wonderful. They answer to our problems concerns very quickly. Our neighbors are the perfect neighbors. Living in an apartment is never noise-free but I rarely every hear our next door neighbors. The only downside about living in these apartments is the constant honking of trains at the Amtrak, but it's something you get used to. I do enjoy walking to the Old Market in less than ten minutes, and 4 minutes to the museum.
